The food voucher program began in the 1970’s to help pregnant or breastfeeding mothers and children under the ages of 5, by providing proper nutrition and education. Today there are food voucher programs in all 50 states of the U.S.
With the food voucher program, pregnant mothers, breast-feeding mothers and mothers with infants and children under the age of five, may qualify to receive healthy groceries via food vouchers, administered by the Food & Nutrition Service and the United States Department of Agriculture.
At your convenience, you can contact your local office to inquire about eligibility.
